Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech) have launched an Elite Scholarship program for Southeast Asia students in semiconductor field to pursue their education and plan for future careers in Taiwan. The Elite Scholarship program offers master's programs for students in Electronic Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering-related disciplines. Elite scholarship recipients will be offered financial aid, prioritized for internship and recruitment opportunities in TSMC.

Eligibility

• Applicants graduated from the universities in Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia who would like to study for a master degree at Taiwan Tech.
• Major in Electronic Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering with outstanding academic records.
• Research focuses on semiconductor manufacturing, including semiconductor module process, device integration, and advanced packaging.
• Demonstrate proof of Chinese Language Proficiency (TOCFL) Level 1 or equivalent certificate before starting the second semester after enrollment.

Scholarship Value

• Living allowance: Each master’s student will receive a living allowance of NTD 15,000 per month for a maximum of two years of study.
• Prioritized for internship (extra stipend) & recruitment opportunities in TSMC.
