The 2025-2026 Study in Canada Scholarships (SICS) is now open and that Polytechnique Montréal would be glad to support Taiwan Tech students’ applications!

SCHOLARSHIP VALUE AND DURATION:

The scholarship value varies depending on the duration and level of study:

• CAD 10,200 for undergraduate or graduate students for four (4) months or one academic term of study or research or;
• CAD 12,700 for graduate students (Master's and PhD) for a period of five to six (5-6) months of research.

ELIGIBILITY:

Candidates must be citizens of country listed below;

• Asia: Bangladesh, Nepal, Taiwan
• Europe: Türkiye, Ukraine
• Middle East and North Africa: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia
• Sub-Saharan Africa: Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda
• enrolled as a full-time student at a post-secondary institution in an eligible country;
• paying tuition fees to that institution at the time of application and for the full duration of the exchange.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES:

1. Register to Research Internship (in ENGLISH or FRENCH/ available all year)
2. Submit a specific application form for the Study in Canada Scholarships (SICS)

• PolyMTL deadline for a SICS submission is February 23, 2025, at 11:59 PM (EST).

Selected candidates may arrive as early as August 1, 2025, but no later than February 1, 2026.  Failure to arrive during this time may result in the cancellation of the scholarship.
